Urban photographers express art in different ways by different kinds of people. Art is evolving through time and change. Many photographers express their creativity in art by taking candid pictures in the modern environment. One example of modern art is graffiti. This is a temporary form of art which is an urban expression of creativity by our young modern artists. This is a cheap type of specialized documentation that when done well is extremely beautiful, and obvious appreciation will be felt by others. However, careful judgment may still take place and criticism may not be fair enough, for beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
A famous surfer and artist is Keegan Gibbs. He graduated after 4 years in film school, which also helped him to raise his passion in art through photography. He likes taking pictures of his own experiences, especially the adventures he had while travelling. When looking over his portfolio, most of his photographs are taken on the beach and of his surf getaway with friends. Those photos are careful but candid shots, which brings the photos to life.
Another urban artist well-known for his documentation of graffiti art and also as a famous graffiti photographer, Paviani takes the lead in modern art. He often takes live performance photos of artists spraying walls with graffiti. He is originally from Belgium, and published a book featuring 100 graffiti pieces named, Brussels (g)old School, in the capital of Europe between 1987 and 1992.
A female modern urban shooting artist is Martha Cooper, who is a purely American photographer and is the only female photographer in the modern generation society. But never take women for less, because of her book named Subway Art, was published in 1984. It went a long way toward the documentation of medial writing.
Another modern artist from France is Mr. T. His renowned works portray attractive colors which serve to catch the attention of every common eye. His perspective to art is colorful, which makes him one of the most important famous urban photographers these days.
